Relic Rogue

Summary

Relic Rogue is a top down shooter with more of a unique take on the deck builder genre: the player cannot control the order or the timing of cards being played. In this game, the player goes on expeditions looting from multiple old spaceship battle grounds, avoiding the robotic sentries on patrol around the area. They achieve this through a directional dash, the guns they carry on their person, and their virus deck. As the player goes deeper, the enemies get more complex, and become harder to detect. 

This first demo contains only two levels, but demonstrates the key features of the game. Key bind rebinding is possible, but only for some keys. Progress does not yet save between play sessions. While lore exists, none has yet been implemented.

Controls: 

Keyboard

• Movement: WASD
• Dash: Space
• interact: E
• Shoot: Left Click
  • Automatically aims in the last direction of movement
• Switch weapon type: Right click (not available to change)
• Pause: Escape

Rebinding currently only available for Keyboard

• Dash: Left trigger
• Interact: North button
• Shoot: Right trigger
• Aim: Right stick
• Switch weapon type: Right shoulder
• Pause: West button
